Realized something

I realized something this morning. All the food pushers are gone at my office now. Well except for the guy that a couple times a year brings donuts. but that is no big deal since it does not happen that often. That means the bowls of candy and people trying to get me to take food stuff I don't need is gone for the moment. I hate that my co-workers got laid off but least this is a bright side to that dark cloud. Plus i been so busy I haven't really thought about doing much eating.

I go weigh tonight to see if I have lost any since starting the 6 week challenge. BTW I was back in the 280s at the start of this...damn yo-yo'ing. I feel smaller....hope I don't get disappointed. The challenge has got easier and I found out from one of the staff that I can have a little peanut better if I get hungry without counting that on my list. I have only had to do that once so far.

Geeking out

Having a little trouble with the new plan I am doing. It leaves me hungry at times. The first week has 400 less calories than that ones after it. It's a 6 week challenge. I've not been perfect because of the hunger issue but I have done pretty good on it so far. I think things will be better once the second week starts. As far as I can tell right now this is not a plan I would do for the long term...however it does seem to work on getting a "jump start" on weight lost. I can tell the difference already. The plan is the 6 week challenge offered by Curves.

I decided to put the IDs for AIM and Yahoo on the web page. I used http://www.onlinestatus.org/ to get nice icons that I liked. I been doing a lot of playing with stuff on my computer today. Just found out about yahoo widgets....they look really cool so far and I am looking forward to playing with those more. (yea I am such a geek LOL)

It's been raining for that last two days which has stopped any outside walking. The temperatures have been cool and very nice after such a hot summer. I am just ready to have some nice weekends with out all the rain during the biggest part of the day. I got in several workouts this week. The way the workout are done it is both cardio and strength training. I got an extra workout Friday because I stupidly locked my keys in the car....the five minute drive to the gym is a 40 minute walk. Thankfully I got a ride back to the gym and didn't have to do that 40 minute walk back...not sure how much my feet would have liked me by the end of it.

Fall is in the air

It has been a chilly morning. One where i wished I could have slept in a bit longer. I stayed up about an hour more than I should have last night which also probably played into my wanting to stay in bed this morning. I love this time of year. I am dreading once it does get really cold though. But right now I am going to enjoy the fall weather in all its glory. Tomorrow is the first day of Autumn...it won't be long till the leaves start to turn and fall and I look forward to walking more that time of year than any other.

I have been not been feeling well the last couple of days but I think it is starting to get better. The headache I have had is starting to wear off. I am hoping that it is completely gone by the time I get off work because I am wanting to go workout today.

I watched the Biggest Loser last night. I am not sure if I will watch the whole season or not. I am not normally big on reality tv shows though this is one that I watched the last two main seasons. I didn't watch the little mini ones they did as I didn't find them interesting. I was happy that the blue team won, there are a couple of people I like on it. including the guy from Tennessee....my state.

Haven't figured it out yet

I fought today trying to figure out why the new atom feed, at the bottom of some of the blogs I read from blogger.com, does not work with any of my browsers or with the blog reader I use (Blog Navigator). I haven't figure it out yet. Bloglines seems to read it okay but I don't care as much for that because I can't see the sight design or if it does show I haven't figured out how to do it.

On the food front Lean Cuisine has some dinner time meals now that are 30% bigger and the one I had today was only 5 points (WW plan). Plus it tasted really good.

Husband saves wife by not doing the dishes

Well it is possible....the story. Well I have not cooked for the last week because I refused to do so until my DH did the dishes. So the spinach I bought ( I love spinach) didn't get used before we saw the news and it was tossed out. Btw the dishes are done now. So time to cook again, minus spinach. The whole thing with the spinach contamination is awful. I feel so bad for the people affected.

Today is one of those days I feel soooo big. I am not comfortable in my body. I really need to step up the exercise and get busy with the healthy cooking.

Still hanging in there

I knew it had been a while since i posted but I thought it was nearing on week and half, not two weeks and a half. It's been a crazy time. They let go of all of the support people where i work except for one guy and myself. We changed from a 24/7 3 shifts to a 12 hour 2 shifts. So I work the first part of an over lapping shift it's got me working from 7am-3:30pm. Almost all the folks I worked with are gone. It was very emotional, especially since I had to fill out the papers to let them all go on top of all the other jobs/duties I have with the company. I don't know what the future is going to be but for right now I am still apart of it.

On the good side the earlier hours have gave me plenty of time to stop and work out after work. I have been going to Curves every other day.
